The GMG MICRO 1530-ED bridges the gap between a standard 19 ft (6m) scissor lift and a compact 12 ft (3.6m) mast lift, offering a one lift solution for both industrial and construction applications.
The MICRO 1530-ED is extremely light weight (1895 lbs/ 860 kg ) which makes it easy to transport in elevators along with the operator and tools. GMG's exclusive I-Power technology integrates all the safety components on electric slab scissors into one system to communicate with each other and interpret the operator's actions. To save valuable battery duty cycle, the machine will not over-amp at a high rate in a specific function; as a result, many models now last two days on a single battery charge.
The system monitors the amperage to control drive and lift speed, and when climbing a grade, I-Power will automatically put the machine into a variable high-torque mode that only provides enough amperage to achieve the grade selected to climb. This allows some GMG electric slab scissors to climb up to a 45% grace. All speeds (lift/lower, drive, steering), platform height, and some machine options are adjustable within GMG's pre-determined levels.
I-Power enhances safety by detecting when the machine is descending a slope surface both stowed and elevated, automatically placing the machine in a variable torque value and creating a controlled descent. I-Power constantly monitors the battery value and will not allow the machine to go into a dangerous gassing state.
